Alabama Licensed Crisis Counselor

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Alabama Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver emotional support, risk assessment, and crisis intervention services remotely while managing a high volume of calls and ensuring a professional, solution-focused care experience. Key responsibilities Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and intervene in emergent situations Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services Ability to manage stress effectively in a high-demand environment Strong multitasking skills while navigating multiple software systems Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
