Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers an hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid semi-monthly, with opportunities to make a meaningful difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare providers, and other caregivers.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation may be required.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00 paid twice a month.
