Quality Team Lead

In this role, you’ll lead quality system compliance across our Extrusion, Rewind, and Press departments, ensuring processes meet ISO and food safety standards. You’ll also drive continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with internal teams to meet company and customer requirements.

Location : Hartford, WI Production Site

Hours: Monday – Friday | 7am – 3pm

Wage: $25 - $28/hour (BOE)

Quality Lead – Position Overview:

• Lead quality efforts in all production departments throughout the facility, ensuring employees follow safety procedures, work instructions, and product specifications.
• Investigate internal and customer quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct quality testing, inspections, and audits to verify production data, product samples, incoming materials, and corrective action effectiveness
• Develop testing procedures and quality metrics, train employees, track response times, and manage daily disposition and reporting of rejected materials.
• Support customer and supplier audits, document supplier claims, and drive continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Three years+ in a quality assurance position
• Associates or Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Quality related field a plus (or equivalent experience)
• Training or Lead Experience Preferred
• SQF Experience Preferred
• Six Sigma Belt Certification a plus.
• Product or industry specific machine experience.
• Basic Mechanical Skills.
• High School Level Mathematics.
• Troubleshooting/Problem Solving Skills.
