Highlights: ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 12 ED Beds ED Patients Per Hour: 2‑5.3 EMR: Meditech 24‑hour Physician Coverage Shift Times: 7 a‑7 p, 7 p‑7 a 12‑hour APP Coverage Shift Times: 11 a‑11 p. No call required. Weekend Coverage. Immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical, with quick transfer capabilities to any Methodist Healthcare facility. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine through ABEM or AOBEM. Competitive compensation, travel, lodging, and malpractice covered. Facility Information Methodist Converse’s team consists of board‑certified emergency medicine physicians and emergency‑trained nurses and technicians. The 12,650‑square‑foot facility includes 12 all‑private treatment rooms and a full range of services: Radiology Full‑service laboratory Telemetry Specific on‑site diagnostic equipment will include: 64‑slice CT scanner Dedicated X‑ray suite Ultrasound Telemetry equipment 24‑hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases using a PACS to electronically transmit any diagnostic image from Methodist ER Converse to any Methodist credentialed physician’s office, specialist, or any Methodist hospital emergency room for seamless follow‑up.
