Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Nights
This is a 13-week contract position.
3x12 Hour Shifts, Night shift (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM), with every other weekend and holiday coverage required.
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts. This role is critical in managing a variety of complex patient diagnoses and providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics.
- Manage patients with complex diagnoses, including behavioral health issues and trauma cases.
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient care effectively.
- Triage and prioritize patient needs in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in continuous education and training as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Active RN license in Maryland or Compact state.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
