Substitute School NursesThe Hampstead School District, located in Southern N.H., is seeking substitute school nurses to work in our elementary school (pre-K through grade 4) and middle school (grade 5 through 8) as needed. Successful candidates will be granted access to our online absence management system to browse and accept available assignments as advertised. Enjoy the ability to set your own schedule!Qualifications and General Job DescriptionSchool Nurse Subs: Substitute school nurses provide direct and indirect care to students in compliance with school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health plans; and collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure effective daily health supervision of all students. Function in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, National Association of School Nurses Code of Ethics, and the School District Policies and Procedures. Current registered professional nurse, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in NH is a requirement.
