We are looking for a CDL Driver Mentor to join our team in Denison, TX. As a CDL Driver Mentor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for training drivers in the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks while performing deliveries to residential and industrial job sites. Duties include coordinating with Dispatch and Batch Plant Supervisors, maintaining equipment cleanliness and minor maintenance, supporting safe batch plant operations, and ensuring strict safety procedures are followed when backing and working alongside Material Spotters/Dump Men. When not mentoring another driver, the mentor will work as a Ready-Mix Driver.

• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must have good interpersonal and relationship skills.
• Ability to be a team player and role model for the company and its mission.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and appropriately represent the company.
• Basic understanding of quality control.
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
• Thorough operational knowledge and skills of mixer truck and related equipment to be operated.
• Ability to keep time and material records.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Understanding of and willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
• Driver must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system and use the truck tracking system correctly & efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and appropriately represent the Company.

About You

We Require:

• The Driver Mentor MUST have a minimum of 5-years of Ready-Mix Driving Experience.
• The driver must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class A or B.
