About the Role
The Company is seeking a Secretary General (CEO) to lead its global union, which is dedicated to the protection and promotion of the rights and interests of professional football players. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization, serving as the external spokesperson, and leading strategic initiatives in line with the mission of the union. This role requires a proven track record in organizational management, team leadership, and stakeholder management, with a strong emphasis on international perspective and communication skills. The Secretary-General will work closely with the Board to create and implement a comprehensive strategy, oversee the organization's governance, and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including international sports federations. Applicants for the Secretary-General position at the company should have a minimum of a senior executive experience in a comparable organization, with a preference for those who have a background in non-profit, trade union, or sports-related entities.
