Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. Available shift schedules include days and evening. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Responsibilities Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing Analyze, verify, and accurately report test results Complete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receipt Communicate critical values to providers and document read‑back Perform and document quality control (QC) and proficiency testing Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Manage reagents, supplies, and inventory Follow laboratory SOPs, CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standards Maintain accurate documentation of results, QC, and maintenance Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and patient safety regulations Qualifications Minimum 24 months of experience Must hold current MLT certification from: ASCP (BOC or BOR) AMT American Association of Bioanalysts No sponsorship available Physical Requirements Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ansible Government Solutions
