Data Processing SpecialistThe Department of Undergraduate Admissions is accepting applications for its Data Processing Specialist position.Examples Of DutiesKey documents as required: high school and college transcripts, test scores, etc.Liaison to support all functions Relief for front desk personnel.Provide customer service support as it relates to the student admission process.Assist with maintaining the electronic portals for transcripts (E-Scripts, Parchment, etc.).Responsible for the storage and retrieval of received transcripts and other documents.Enter data in Banner as needed: High school information, test score information.Responsible for pushing new apps.Responsible for indexing and linking documents (scanning and attaching to Banner record).Download documents from admissions mailboxes: faxes, transcripts and future tigers, etc.Assist with events as needed.Work extended hours as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Typical QualificationsAssociate's Degree Required.Data entry experience required.3-5 years higher education or related experience preferred.Experience with Ellucian Banner system a plus.Must be proficient in use of a computer.Ability to work with large amounts of data with speed and accuracy.Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.Must be detail-oriented; self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work independently.Must provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and the entire University family and other community constituents.BenefitsWe offer a complete benefits package to full-time employees, including health care, dental, vision, retirement, deferred compensation plans, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, long-term disability, holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
