StewardHotel Heron is looking for full-time stewards to join our team! The Steward/Dishwasher is a crucial part of the team to ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness for our guests. This position is paid hourly, and candidates must be willing to work 40+ hours, 5 days a week.What You Will DoWash dishes, glasses, pots and pans by hand or via commercial dish/glass washerDry and polish all serviceware, glassware and flatwareReport any maintenance deficiencies to appropriate resourceSweep and mop floors, vacuum carpetsRemoval of garbage and waste to compactors or recycling binsMaintain general cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchens, restrooms and outside areasWhat You Will Need1 or more year experience of dishwashing or comparable positionAbility to operate dish machines, cleaning tools and other required equipment safelyAbility to follow instructions, anticipate needs, and multitaskCan work individually and within a team environmentMust be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hoursMust be able to move, pull or lift at least 35 poundsMust be able to climb stairs multiple times per shiftWho We AreHotels done differently.
