Our care plans are designed for patients who are medically stable but need intensive therapy before returning home or to a lower level of care. Common conditions treated include brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries and joint replacements, and amputation.How you'll contributeAs a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with us, you are an essential part of the patient's journey to independence. This includes, but is not limited to:Providing daily living care to the patientsAssisting in the preparation of admissions, transfers, and discharge of patientsAnswering call lights in a timely mannerDemonstrating the ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan dailyObtaining and recording temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight, etc.Making rounds with oncoming shift to ensure the unit is left in good conditionIntegrating the plan of care with Rehabilitation Services treatment plan to attain patient's optimal level of functioningQualificationsCompletion of a nursing assistant training courseCurrent state certification as a Nursing AssistantCPR/BLCS CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalent required6 months+ of relevant experience preferredWhy Join Us?We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
