General Information Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Unit staffing description: 1 US, 2 PCT, 2 LPN, 2 RN, 1 CNC, 1 Manager
• Type of equipment: hoyer lift, sara steady, Stryker Beds
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 3 shifts per week, every three week rotation
• Floating policy: floating is possible when census drops and there is a rotation.
• Patient Experience requirements:

• Certifications: BLS, RN License, LPN License

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

• Critical Thinking, IV skills, assessment skills, transfers skills and body mechanics during transfers, Care scoring (can be taught)
• Must have: assessment and critical thinking, med surg experience
• Advanced skills needed: Peritoneal dialysis
• Procedures performed on unit: Peritoneal dialysis, blood infusion, IV medications
• Certifications Required: CRRN preferred.
• Dress Code: (Required uniform) Black scrubs
