Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, improving inventory management processes, and ensuring products are properly tracked throughout the warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of inventory control and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Research, analyze, and document inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and recommend process improvements to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, storage practices, and inventory flow.
• Process inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Partner with the Distribution Manager to maintain an organized, efficient, and accessible inventory system.
• Generate and maintain inventory records, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning as needed.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Support additional warehouse and inventory-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory control and warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with inventory management systems required.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Comfortable using warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and warehouse ladders.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
