Position Details MERCY HOSPITAL ST LOUIS GI LAB - PRN Registered Nurse (Monday–Friday, hours based on department needs) Overview GI Endoscopy (GI Lab) is a procedural department serving both outpatient and inpatient patients for diagnosis, screening, and treatment, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder cases. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program (required). BSN (preferred). Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; meet all state board of nursing requirements. BLS certification through American Heart Association. At least 1 year of RN experience.
