Registered Nurse

Cambridge Health Alliance seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with CHA policies and evidence-based practice Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge/after-care instructions Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) Support quality improvement, patient safety, and infection control initiatives Precept and mentor students and new staff in a teaching-focused environment Advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion in care for diverse, underserved populations Patient assessment Clinical decision-making Medication administration IV therapy and phlebotomy Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and coordination Wound care Patient and family education Infection control practicesBasic life support and emergency response Qualifications Active RN license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred depending on unit Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or NRP as applicable to patient population Prior acute care or community health experience preferred Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k #J-18808-Ljbffr
