About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of ER experience required License: State RN license required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS CPI Must-Have: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The position involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires at least 2 years of ER experience. Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility is preferred. Nurses should be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency medications. Knowledge of procedural sedation, ventilated patients, and trauma care is essential. Experience with psych holds and pediatric emergency care is required. Patient ratios are 1:3.5. EPIC documentation is used in this role. Float may be required, with every other or every third weekend scheduled. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
