Job Description

A new small animal general practice opening in early 2027 in Westchester County, New York is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian.

The caseload covers wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and same-day urgent cases for dogs and cats, with Fear Free handling. The hospital starts with one doctor and plans to grow into a multi-doctor practice, with protected lunch breaks and call-back time built into the schedule.

Key Highlights:

4-day workweek with no on-call and no overnight hospitalization
Target of about 2 technicians per doctor, plus dedicated assistants and CSRs
Digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house diagnostics, and AI scribe technology
Fully digital workflow and modern anesthesia monitoring
Direct mentorship from the Medical Director
Future partnership and leadership development as the practice grows

About You:

DVM or VMD from an accredited school
Valid New York veterinary license, or eligible
New grads welcome, with extended appointment times, graduated caseloads, and collaborative case discussions

Benefits:

$130,000 to $165,000 per year (based on experience) + 20% ProSal with no negative accrual
$10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
