This individual will play a crucial role in our construction operations, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and construction processes, and will utilize this knowledge to develop comprehensive project estimates. Job Details Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead. Review and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications to understand project requirements. Conduct site visits and investigations to gather necessary data for estimates. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project scope and requirements. Analyze and adjust estimates based on project changes or updates. Present and explain estimates to clients, stakeholders, and team members. Monitor and track project costs to ensure estimates are accurate and budgets are maintained. Stay current on industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure estimates are competitive and accurate. Participate in pre-bid meetings, proposal presentations, and client meetings as necessary. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation or a related role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and construction processes. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Professional certification in cost estimation or construction is a plus. Interested in hearing more?
