Physical Therapist

Responsibilities Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, and develop appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards. Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders. Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Continuing education opportunities available to the therapy team. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa.
