Details Acute care cardiac cath lab setting Procedures include left heart catheterization (LHC), left/right heart catheterization (LERO/RHC), and PM/ICD/BI-V insertions Equipment used includes Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation Charting system is Xper; candidates without Xper experience will be assigned to circulate/scrub roles rather than monitoring cases Average of 8 cases per weekday and 6 cases on weekends 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Call schedule is approximately 30%: weekday call runs Monday–Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and weekend call runs Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM 30-minute call response time required Overnight call room is available on-site Requirements Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required Active RN, ARRT, or RCIS license required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with LHC, LERO, RHC, and PM/ICD/BI-V insertion preferred Familiarity with Xper charting system preferred Experience with Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation equipment preferred Additional Information Perform cardiac catheterization, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures including device insertions This is a 13-week contract with a 40-hour work week Housing availability in the area may be limited and more expensive than typical due to peak tourism season; candidates are strongly encouraged to secure housing prior to accepting the assignment American Traveler Job ID #P-727756.
