Make an impact by supporting students’ development as an Occupational Therapist working within a dynamic school-based environment near Roxboro, NC. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid license and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapies and educational interventions
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, including direct and consultative support
- Evaluate students’ abilities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement IEP goals
- Utilize creative interventions to support fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills development
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school, district, and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions to help all students reach their potential
