Job Summary
Hunter Automotive Group in Fletcher, NC is hiring an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in detail-oriented work and want a hands-on role with real career advancement potential, this is the opportunity for you. Previous detailing or reconditioning experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right attitude.
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough interior and exterior inspections of used inventory to determine reconditioning and detailing needs
- Execute high-quality detailing services, including professional washing, vacuuming, carpet extraction, paint correction and buffing, and interior conditioning
- Complete minor reconditioning repairs such as headlight restoration, paint touch-ups, and basic part replacements
- Complete digital reconditioning checklists to ensure every vehicle meets Hunter Automotive Group's quality standards before it reaches the lot
- Keep shop equipment, chemicals, and wash bays clean, organized, and operating safely
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive detailing or reconditioning experience is highly preferred, but we will train individuals with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail.
- A detail-oriented mindset that catches the small things others miss
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required to move vehicles safely around the dealership lot
