Requisition #: 668932 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category: Nursing Schedule: Night Shift Employment Type: Part-timeJoin our collaborative team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital on Zayed 12 East, a 32-bed adult inpatient unit boasting 26 acute care neurosurgery and neurology medical/surgical beds and a state-of-the-art 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are a valued member of our team and will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care to patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling's, and more! Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosciences is at the forefront of groundbreaking treatments and our RNs care for a broad spectrum of patients with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, myasthenia gravis, MS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, ALS, seizures, etc.
Our nurses work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team including MDs, Physician Assistants, Surgeons, PT/OT/SLP, Social Work, and other specialties. Our unit promises a unique blend of experiences, enriched by the support and camaraderie of a dedicated team. Who Should Apply :
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
- RN experience required
Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
