An established and growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in the Daytona Beach, Florida area is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its patient-centered healthcare team. Founded in 2009, the practice has built strong partnerships with local employers and continues to experience significant growth. The incoming physician will play a key role in expanding access to primary care services while helping develop and grow their own patient panel.

Schedule

• Full-time position
  
• Monday–Thursday
  
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  
• Last patient scheduled at 4:00 PM
  

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
  
• Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
  
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  
• Develop individualized treatment plans
  
• Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare facilities as needed
  
• Conduct hospital follow-up visits when appropriate
  
• Utilize telehealth and patient communication tools to enhance access and continuity of care
  
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
  

Patient Volume & Practice Model

• Average of approximately 10 patients per day
  
• New patient appointments: 60 minutes
  
• Follow-up appointments: 30 minutes
  
• Hospital follow-up appointments: 60 minutes
  
• Predominantly adult patient population
  
• Average patient age range: 40–50 years
  
• Employer-sponsored patient memberships and individual members
  

Call Schedule

• Light telephone call coverage
  
• Approximately one week of call coverage at a time
  
• Patients are educated to utilize after-hours access only for urgent concerns
  
• Minimal call burden
  
• No routine in-person call requirements
  

Qualifications
Required

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency training
  
• Eligible for or active Florida medical license
  
• DEA registration or eligibility
  

Preferred

• Family Medicine training preferred but open to Internal Medicine
  
• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred
  
• Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred but not required
  
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
