• Supporting patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures by providing clear and compassionate explanations at each stage
• Working alongside radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any operational issues
• Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining thorough patient records in the electronic medical system
• Staying updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related fields
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
