Engagement Summary

MVB is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to partner with our Marketing Director on content for MVB and a small number of our clients. This is an ongoing contract engagement for a seasoned professional who can take direction on strategy and independently turn it into polished, on-brand content. We are looking for someone with a proven track record managing social media for businesses. This is not an entry-level or internship opportunity. B2B social media experience is strongly preferred. 

Scope of Work

• Meet with the Marketing Director bi-weekly to review content needs for the upcoming two weeks
• Collaborate on monthly content calendars built around key initiatives and thought leadership content, aligned with MVB’s existing marketing strategy
• Draft post copy, create branded graphics and reels, and schedule 4–5 posts per week across MVB’s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, as well as the CEO’s LinkedIn
• Draft, schedule, and publish client social media content on an as-needed basis (typically 5–10 posts per month across two clients) on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and client executive LinkedIn accounts
• Prepare weekly social media metrics reports using MVB’s reporting template
• Adapt content to each brand’s established fonts, colors, tone, and voice

  Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience managing social media for businesses or agencies (internship and personal account experience alone will not be considered)
• B2B social media experience strongly preferred, particularly in professional services
• Demonstrated ability to write engaging, brand-appropriate copy and produce graphics and short-form video (reels)
• Hands-on experience with Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite
• Experience with paid social advertising is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in meeting content deadlines
• Ability to manage executive and client accounts with professionalism and discretion
• Must be based in the United States
