About the Job Are you an experienced certified veterinary technician seeking a position that will utilize your technical and nursing skills in a well-equipped facility? EVCOT is well-known and respected in the veterinary community for 27 years across the Portland area to the Oregon coast. Our technicians are highly utilized, and the caseload offers a great variety due to the nature of our work. CVTs work in ER, ICU and surgeries. Patient care is our top priority. We have a great team and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities Work as a CVT in ER, ICU and surgical settings Provide high-quality patient care and support to referring veterinarians Collaborate with team members to manage a varied caseload Maintain a safe and organized work environment Qualifications Must be a certified veterinary technician in Oregon (proof of CVT license required at interview) High school diploma or GED Oregon veterinary technician license in good standing or eligibility for licensure Experience or training in veterinary technology; on-the-job experience preferred Continuing Education Fifteen (15) hours of continuing education from an accredited program every two years as required to maintain licensure in the State of Oregon Benefits Full-Time Benefits: 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability. Shifts Full-time Thursday-Saturday 7pm-7am with one Wednesday a month; Full-time Wednesday-Saturday 10am-8pm; Full-time Sunday-Wednesday 10am-8pm. Shift differential Weekdays 10pm-6am $3/hr; Weekend shift differential $6/hr.
