About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient or rehab experience License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test Description: Inpatient Rehabilitation unit with 24 beds. Staffing includes charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians. Patient ratios are 1:6. Utilizes Hill-Rom beds and electronic medical records. Skills most recruited for include one year of inpatient or rehab experience and BLS certification. Candidates with ACLS certification and medical/telemetry experience will be preferred. Patients receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy for a total of 3 hours a day. Patients may also undergo dialysis, have blood administered, receive IVP medications, and access remote telemetry monitoring. No bedside surgical procedures are performed. Ideal candidates will collaborate well with therapy departments. Candidates should foster patient independence while ensuring a safe environment. Unit policies include fall precautions, infection control, and patient safety measures. Every other weekend commitment is required.
