Job Title: Physiatrist for Inpatient Rehabilitation Program


Overview:
StaffMed Health Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist to support a new inpatient rehabilitation program in Gainesville, Florida. This vital role involves providing care in a 30-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on patients with stroke, orthopedic injuries, amputation, neurological disorders, and general debility. Join a large, established multispecialty group and collaborate closely with highly trained therapy and nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a growing program with long-term career potential.


Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Ability to provide inpatient and outpatient care (if desired)
• Experience with inpatient consults (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Strong collaborative skills and teamwork orientation

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Relevant clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation

Other Requirements:

• License to practice medicine in Florida (or eligibility)
• Ability to work a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities (optional)
