Treasury Management Officer

Luminate Bank is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Treasury Management Officer (TMO) to expand and deepen our Treasury Management portfolio across Minnesota and nationwide footprint. This role is responsible for generating new treasury relationships, cross-selling cash management solutions, and partnering closely with Commercial Bankers to deliver value-focused deposit, payments, and liquidity strategies for business clients.

The ideal candidate understands the Minnesota business landscape, excels in consultative selling, and is passionate about helping clients optimize their cash flow and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and build new Treasury Management relationships with business, municipal, non-profits and commercial clients across Minnesota and nationally.
• Partner with Commercial Relationship Managers on joint calling efforts to strengthen client acquisition and deepen existing relationships.
• Conduct needs assessments and present tailored treasury solutions that include payments, receivables, liquidity, fraud mitigation, and digital banking services.
• Achieve assigned sales goals, pipeline expectations, and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the subject-matter expert for Treasury products and services, acting as the primary sales contact for clients and prospects.
• Provide consultative guidance to improve clients' cash flow efficiency, working capital management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead onboarding efforts for new Treasury clients in coordination with implementation, operations, and customer support teams.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Internal Collaboration

• Train and support internal partners on Treasury Management offerings, pricing, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and risk teams to enhance product features, pricing strategies, and service delivery.
• Participate in community and industry events on behalf of Luminate Bank.

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure Treasury solutions adhere to bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate sales documentation, pipeline reporting, and CRM updates.
• Stay current on fraud trends, digital payment innovations, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of Treasury Management, Cash Management, or Commercial Banking sales experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial deposit products, payments systems, ACH/Wire processes, and fraud mitigation tools.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Minnesota for client and prospect meetings.

Preferred

• CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with middle-market or business banking clients in the Midwest region.
• Familiarity with TM implementation processes and digital banking systems.
