Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Comfortable adapting instructional strategies to meet individual goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching plans as needed to support growth and success
• Work closely with general education colleagues, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
• Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere conducive to learning for all students
