Position Summary
Carclo is seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team as Inspector/Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting molded plastic parts for quality and packaging finished goods according to customer and company standards. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that only high-quality products are shipped to our customers. We have openings at our Latrobe, Export and Greensburg facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect plastic components for defects, quality issues, and compliance with specifications
- Follow work instructions, visual aids, and quality standards
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete required documentation and production records
- Communicate quality concerns or production issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Support team members and assist with other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or inspection experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and counting skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work the 12-Hour Shifts (7 AM–7 PM / 7 PM–7 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Frequent use of hands for inspection and packaging
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds
- Good vision (with or without correction) for detailed inspection work
