JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: OB Hospitalist

• Job Type: Locum Tenens

• Location: Rowlett, Fort Worth, & Humble, TX

• Service Setting: Inpatient

• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call

• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing

• Shift Schedule: 24-hr or 12-hr shifts

- 7a-7a, 7a-7p, 7p-7a

- Humble & Rowlett: 24-hr shifts

- Fort Worth: 12 & 24-hr shifts

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Annual Deliveries: 1700 (Rowlett)

• Admissions: Yes

• Rounding: Yes

• Case Mix: Obstetrics, Gynecology, Labor & Delivery, Deliveries, OB Triage, GYN Emergencies, Emergency Consultations

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Specialty Backup Available: Neonatology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology

• Support Staff Available: NNP, Labor & Delivery Team and Hospital Staff

• NICU Level: III (Rowlett & Fort Worth)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• OB Triage and Admissions

• Attend Vaginal Deliveries

• Inpatient OB/GYN Care

• Cover the OB Floor

• See Unassigned Patients

• Provide Private Call Coverage

• ER Consults for Gynecologic Emergencies

• Surgical Assists at Cesarean Sections

• Fetal Monitoring

• Emergency Response in Labor & Delivery

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC

• Licenses: Active TX License or IMLC

• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-residency clinical experience

- Recent OBGYN experience within 12 months

• Clean Record

• NPDB report pulled within 30 days
