Tax Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tax Accountant to join our team and play an important role in supporting our tax compliance and accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable tax professional who enjoys working with complex tax matters, solving problems, and staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations.

What You'll Do

As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and supporting the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns while helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You'll use your tax and accounting expertise to research tax issues, analyze financial information, and support the organization's overall tax strategy and compliance efforts.

You'll work collaboratively with accounting and other internal teams, helping identify and resolve tax-related issues while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

5-8 years of progressive tax accounting experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility and expertise.

Experience preparing federal, state, and local tax returns.

Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and applicable tax regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification preferred.

Public accounting experience preferred.
