Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $75,000–$85,000+ annually, based on experience, clinical expertise, and qualifications.

About the Role

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide individualized, family-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Complete functional occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on each child’s strengths, needs, and goals.
• Provide skilled, evidence-informed occupational therapy services.
• Partner with parents and caregivers through education, collaboration, and ongoing communication.
• Collaborate with other therapists and members of the child’s care team.
• Participate in clinical discussions, continued learning, and initiatives that support our families and practice.

Full-time occupational therapists are scheduled for up to 32 sessions per week, with a minimum expectation of 28 completed visits. Dedicated documentation time is built into each day, and our model creates room within the workweek for collaboration, professional growth, and contributions beyond individual sessions.

Clinical Experience and Interests:

Our therapists work with children across a wide range of developmental needs.

Experience or interest in one or more of the following areas is especially helpful:

• Sensory integration and regulation.
• Feeding.
• DIR/Floortime.
• AAC.
• Parent coaching and caregiver education.

• Meaningful administrative support that manages scheduling and the day-to-day operational responsibilities so therapists can focus on their clinical work.
• Growth beyond the caseload. Whether you want to deepen your clinical expertise, mentor others, develop programs, lead projects, or create resources for families, we look for opportunities to build on your strengths and interests including contributions beyond direct care during the workweek.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Virginia Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to provide individualized, family-centered care.
• Commitment to collaboration, professional communication, and continued growth.
• Prior pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred but not required.
