TRUSS DESIGNER Pay: $20-$35/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Fully Onsite

Location: Maitland, FL 32751 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Truss Designer to join a growing team supporting residential construction projects. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in truss/component design who wants to continue developing their technical skills while working alongside an experienced team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design roof and floor truss layouts from blueprints, sketches, and project specifications
• Calculate headers and loads based on applicable building codes
• Create accurate 2D and 3D truss designs and production-ready drawings
• Review plans and incorporate design changes throughout the project
• Communicate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and project issues
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Residential experience WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 1-2+ years of truss or component design experience
• Experience using truss design software
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365
• High school diploma or equivalent Benefits 401K
