Data product manager

We are seeking a Data Product Manager to lead data strategy initiatives for a 12-month contract role based in Plano, Texas. In this strategy-focused position, you will define data product direction, architect solutions across payments and treasury operations, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver modernization and governance outcomes in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities Define and communicate data strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives to executive and technical stakeholders Develop data product roadmaps, manage backlog prioritization, and define Epic and Feature acceptance criteria Partner with Enterprise Architects, business teams, and technology teams to align strategy with execution and delivery Design and govern canonical data models, APIs, and data contracts across batch and event-driven patterns Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, controls, and compliance readiness Oversee data quality, lineage, metadata management, and reference/master data initiatives Navigate regulatory and audit requirements, including AML/Sanctions, PSD2/Open Banking, regulatory reporting, and data retention policies Lead enterprise data design efforts aligned with payment rails, clearing/settlement, and cross-border payment architectures Qualifications Required 10+ years in data strategy, architecture, product management, or related roles 5+ years in Payments, Treasury, or Banking with expertise in payment rails, clearing/settlement, and cross-border payments Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ISO 20022, SWIFT MT, and SWIFT MX standards Strong Data Governance and Data Management experience, including data quality, lineage, metadata, and reference/master data Demonstrated expertise in governance frameworks, standards, controls, and compliance readiness Strong data architecture knowledge covering canonical data models, APIs/data contracts, batch and event-driven patterns, and enterprise data design Proven experience in regulatory and audit-driven environments, including AML/Sanctions, PSD2/Open Banking, regulatory reporting, and data retention Proven Data Product Management experience with roadmaps, backlog prioritization, use cases, and Epic/Feature acceptance criteria Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Experience with SAFe, PI Planning, or enterprise agile delivery methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr Intone Inc
