Customer Success Coordinator [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Success Coordinator based in the United States.

This is a customer-focused role supporting clients throughout their onboarding and ongoing journey with a fitness and wellness platform.
You’ll serve as a key point of contact for new clients, helping them navigate programs, answer questions, and overcome onboarding barriers.
The role combines relationship building, proactive support, retention, and identifying opportunities for continued engagement.
You’ll collaborate closely with customer success, coaching, operations, and leadership teams to resolve issues and create a seamless client experience.
Success is measured through client satisfaction, responsiveness, onboarding progress, retention, and contribution to renewals and expansion opportunities.
This is a high-energy, fully remote environment suited to someone who is empathetic, organized, proactive, and passionate about helping people achieve their goals.

Accountabilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients following the sales process, providing a welcoming, responsive, and client-centered onboarding experience.

• Support coach-client assignments as part of the welcome-call process for new VIP clients, working under the guidance of the Customer Success Manager.

• Respond to client questions about programs, onboarding requirements, and services through email, phone, and text with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism.

• Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot client concerns, coordinate resolutions, and escalate issues when appropriate.

• Build strong relationships with clients and proactively identify barriers that may affect engagement, satisfaction, or progress.

• Support retention initiatives by helping clients remain engaged, connected, and committed throughout their journey.

• Identify clients who could benefit from additional programs, services, or support and facilitate warm handoffs to the appropriate teams.

• Contribute to renewal and expansion opportunities while maintaining a client-first approach and ensuring recommendations align with customer needs.

• Participate in weekly customer support and operations meetings, customer success team huddles, and monthly company-wide meetings.

• Maintain a strong understanding of available programs, services, and customer resources to provide knowledgeable and effective support.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in customer success, client experience, fitness, wellness, or a related customer-facing environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, professionally, and confidently.

• Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in helping customers overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools, with the ability to use technology to organize client interactions and manage workflows efficiently.

• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management abilities, with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously.

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership, responsiveness, and follow-through.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment and collaborate across customer success, coaching, operations, and leadership teams.

• Availability to accommodate evening hours Monday through Friday, potentially until 9:00 PM PST / 12:00 AM EST, as well as Saturday availability between 7:00 AM–3:00 PM PST / 10:00 AM–6:00 PM EST.

• Ability to attend a monthly all-hands meeting on the first Tuesday of each month, as well as weekly customer support/operations and customer success meetings.

• Applicants must be based in the United States; employment is currently unavailable to residents of California.
