Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Tech (CMT) to join our award-winning team. This full-time role involves administering medications, supporting residents with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a valid Med Tech certification from the Ohio Board of Nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care. Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, you will be an essential part of our team, enhancing the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, assist, and document medication administration (oral, topical, injectable) as ordered by physicians
• Follow all labeling, safety, and community procedures
• Assist with medication charting and documentation of expired/discontinued medications
• Measure, record, and report residents' vital signs
• Ensure residents self-administer medications when appropriate
• Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Follow residents' service plans and abide by health and safety regulations
• Respect Residents' Rights and report concerns promptly
• Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and equipment

Experience and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Certification as a Med Tech (CMT) in the state of Ohio.
