About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Aptiva Corp to find a qualified OR RN in Falls Church, Virginia, 20598!

Neuro RN agency contract specific:
BLS required (AHA) & Active RN license.
2 years experience in Level 1 Trauma OR
In the event of a multiple trauma's, neuro/crani call team can be called in to support any trauma's
Floating- will float to other service lines in Tower OR as needed
Holidays: 1 major, 1 minor depending on timing of contract (call shift only)
Rooms: 28 Rooms
EMR- Epic
# of cases- 75-90 cases per day
RN scrubing skill/experience is ideal
Nurses for the Neuro team must have strong neuro/ortho spine & craniotomy experience. Examples: simple 1 level spine fusion up to complex 10+ level/deformity correction, spine tumors, complex crani tumors, neuro vascular, and neuro trauma.

Dayshift 2x8's (0700-1530) 2x12's (0700-1930), days very, no set schedules, will rotate to nights
Weekend expectations (i.e. Every other weekend)
Weekends - call only: 3 -12hr shifts/schedule (0700-1930 or 1900-0730)
Weekdays 2-8hr shifts/schedule 2330-0700/Weekends 3 -12hr shifts/schedule (0700-1930 or 1900-0730)
