This role requires some travel to Wilmington, NC, during the first year for training. The Physician Assistant will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to facilitate efficient, accurate diagnostic imaging services. Key Responsibilities: Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures across multiple locations while using a variety of imaging modalities. Procedures performed include, but are not limited to: paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, aspirations, lumbar punctures, PICC placement, bone marrow biopsies, swallow studies, joint injections, breast procedures, abscess drain placements, and more. Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations of patients. Evaluate and manage patient care effectively. Provide consultations and conduct office visits. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Physician Assistant license in North Carolina. Certification by the NCCPA. ACLS and BLS certification. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Commitment to high-quality patient care and a collaborative team approach. Previous experience in a clinical or radiology setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
