About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC required Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool with flexibility to meet unit needs. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. This includes Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates must be proficient with EPIC charting. Successful candidates will possess IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management skills. Nurses should be comfortable caring for critically ill patients in diverse ICU settings. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Experience with high-acuity patient management is crucial. Commitment to patient-centered care and safety is essential.
