RN Surgery (OR) - La Jolla Green

*This is a Full time, benefited position as a OR RN . The shift is a 10 hour day shift at 6:30 am. It is located at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla. Call and some weekends are required.* It is located at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla.

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

* Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: *

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License
• One (1) year of recent surgery or operating room RN experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2 years or more of related experience
• Well rounded experience in all OR service lines
• CNOR certificate
