An urgent opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a busy 340B/Specialty Pharmacy in the Bronx, NY. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and excellent patient care until a permanent pharmacist is found.

Location:

• Bronx, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Closed for lunch from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medication support and education directly to patients
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage and support pharmacists and technician staff; address knowledge gaps through training and education
• Promote patient safety and uphold professional pharmacy practice standards
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory and quality assurance protocols

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including those new to the PIC role
• Strong leadership and communication skills suitable for managing pharmacy teams
