Extended Day staff

Saint Louis Catholic School, located in Alexandria, VA, is seeking enthusiastic persons to join our extended day team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time position, with flexible hours: Monday-Friday 3 p.m. up to 6 p.m. School half-days hours 11:30 a.m. up to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrates Christian caring in relationships with children and families;
2. Maintains a safe, clean, and healthy environment;
3. Provides close supervision of children in active play through appropriate positioning and monitoring of designated areas;
4. Adheres to a daily schedule that balances active and quiet times, free and structured times, indoor and outdoor activities;
5. Complies with Diocesan and Local Program Policies;
6. Implements regulations applicable to the program, including fire, health & emergency;
7. Expresses respect for all children: smiles and laughs with the children

Requirements:


1. fingerprints, and background checks;


2. high school diploma/GED.

Benefits:
