Help Desk Support

Our client, a dynamic organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Help Desk Support to join their team. As a Help Desk Support, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the technical needs of end users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Boardman, OR, Umatilla, OR, Hermiston, OR

Pay Range: $25.50-$2.00/hr

What's the Job?

Provide first-level (Tier 1) technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and standard business applications
Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and email requests in a timely manner
Support user account setup, password resets, and access management

What's Needed?

Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
CompTIA A+ certification preferred or in progress
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and networking concepts
Familiarity with common software applications (Microsoft Office, email systems, ticketing tools)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
