Compensation:


Pay: $25-$29/hr

This is a fast-paced, multi-specialty center offering comprehensive surgical services in a supportive and collaborative setting. Surgical Technologists are encouraged to cross-train and build skills across multiple specialties, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing perioperative team. While certification is not required , this role demands a seasoned professional with strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of sterile techniques, and a commitment to patient safety.


The Surgical Technologist will report directly to the Clinical Director and is responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and managing surgical instrumentation and equipment post-procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for scheduled surgeries by setting up sterile instrument tables in accordance with procedures and departmental protocols.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining visibility, and holding retractors.
• Manage and maintain surgical inventory and sterile supplies.
• Clean the OR and properly store surgical equipment following procedures.
• Sterilize, inspect, and assemble instruments, adhering to clean vs. dirty protocols.
• Demonstrate working competency in fewer than 5 surgical specialties with a willingness to cross-train.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the 6-month to adult age range.
• Recognize and report significant patient conditions or changes to RN, Charge Nurse, Anesthesia, or physician as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with aseptic/sterile techniques and AORN and AST guidelines.
• Uphold high standards of patient safety and surgical discipline at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Surgical Technologist in a surgical/clinical setting.
• Proven knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under general supervision.
• Understanding of standards set by the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) and Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
• Willingness to work collaboratively and cross-train across specialties.
