Phlebotomist

Full time phlebotomist position. 8/24 start date. 4x10hour shifts/ 40 hours per week, with hours of either 6:00 AM-4:30 PM or 6:35 AM-5:05 PM, often a combination of both
The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary puncture while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include manually entering requisitions into the EPIC LIS system with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, verifying patient information, labeling and processing specimens, checking inventory and restocking phlebotomy and laboratory supplies as needed, maintaining equipment, following infection control and safety protocols, documenting procedures, and providing excellent customer service while working collaboratively with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.
