RN - Med-Surg / Telemetry

Schedule
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- On-call: Standby call required

Requirements
- License: RN required (license pending acceptable)
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience
- Travel experience required
- EPIC experience is required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Unit-specific skills: Trained in telemetry and med-surg

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
- Monitor and assess patients in a telemetry setting, interpreting cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood product administration and IV therapy.
- Participate in rapid response and code team situations as needed.
- Assist with tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, and wound/ostomy care as applicable.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient support.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Pre-approved time off: 1 day (must request upfront)
- RTO rule: 6 total days or 3 consecutive days auto-approved (more requires approval)
- Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination or loss of guaranteed hours
